So I have been bad about posting recently. I don’t know what it is but I can never sit down and finish a blog post to save my life. I guess it has a lot to do with twitter and it’s ability to snag my ideas and post them to the world before I can write them out into a full sized post. Anyway, here is a rundown of some stuff I am working on….

First up, I am trying to get my office cleaned up and organized. It needs some storage space for all my gear and have my lab stuff all setup. I recently got my etch tank back up and running so I can make circuit boards again and I plan to remake my PCB exposure table so I can use the photo resist copper clad boards to avoid the issues I was having with the iron on method. Once I have this all going I can make boards again!

Next up is I want to redo my orb project so that it is simpler to use. For anyone that does not know the orb project is a small wifi orb that glows a color based on a condition. In my case it glows based on if it can reach a web server or not to ensure my systems for work are all up and running. The old orb works but it needs some tweaks and I hope to be able to make it simpler to setup and use.

Speaking of projects I need to clean out the garage here at the house so I can make room for my arcade games. I would like to move them over sometime soon. I may or may not sell a few at the upcoming auction next weekend but I have not really decided yet. I will be posting on twitter about the auction and I hope to make a blog post about it as well.

The house robot project is just kind of sitting on hold right now. I am really thinking about redoing it sans Rumba but I am not really sure if I want to build my own platform or not. I will have to think about that one some more.

Other then these projects I am just trying to keep the house clean and everything going smoothly with work. We will see how well I can do that this summer.
